Spanish-language digital communications manager

This position provides support to NRCA’s communications department by managing NRCA’s Spanish social media platforms and participating in planning and implementing social media strategies. The position will be responsible for providing Spanish-language content for social media and other communications efforts, using social media to raise awareness regarding NRCA’s Spanish efforts and engage with Spanish-speaking NRCA members and the roofing community.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage, create, gather and post content for NRCA’s Spanish social media platforms
Use social media analytics to measure the success of each platform and adapt strategies accordingly
Work with NRCA’s creative team to create and produce graphics and videos for social media
Help increase NRCA’s Spanish social media presence and engagement
Monitor and follow related industry accounts, as well as accounts whose content may be relevant to NRCA’s Spanish-speaking audiences.
Help manage NRCA’s Spanish website
Create content for other NRCA Spanish-language communication efforts
Work on additional projects as assigned

SKILLS:

Required:

Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in English and Spanish
Strong knowledge of English and Spanish grammar
Strong knowledge of and experience with social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp
Strong knowledge of Sprout Social or similar social media management and optimization platforms
Ability to multitask
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to establish priorities and work independently
Attention to detail
Flexible demeanor and positive attitude

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE:

Recommended:

Bachelor’s degree in social media, communications or related field
Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and/or prior experience providing high-quality content in Spanish
One to three years’ experience in social media

TRAVEL AND OVERTIME REQUIREMENTS:

This position may require travel, evening and weekend work.

SALARY: $50,000-$55,000
